About me

Hello! My name is Tai (yes, just three letters!). I was raised between Managua, Nicaragua, and Antigua, Guatemala, two places that taught me to see beauty in both culture and people.

I began as a writer, drawn to the structure and emotion of language, and discovered that words could evolve into visual form. That transition from writing to design became the foundation of my practice — a pursuit of clarity, balance, and meaning.

My approach is rooted in people: their stories, their needs, and the emotions that move them. My projects often explore how visuals can carry meaning with subtlety and intention. I specialize in brand development and editorial design, creating visual systems and narratives that resonate with people.

Outside of design and writing, I find inspiration in travel, cultural immersion, the ocean, literature, soccer, and walking through the streets of small towns.
